Tickets Available - Bonnyrigg Rose Athletic
Posted May 7, 2022
Cowdenbeath FC can now confirm arrangements for the second leg of the Play Off Final at Central Park next Saturday. This will be a segregated match albeit all spectators will enter Central Park via the High Street turnstiles.

Cowdenbeath fans will be accommodated in the stand and west terracing with Bonnyrigg Rose fans occupying the south terracing. Tickets are now on sale via the Club’s online advanced ticketing system. Secure your place now by clicking here and purchasing your ticket online. The e-ticket QR code you then receive can either be printed off or exhibited on your phone at the Central Park turnstiles where it will be scanned before admission.

Ticket prices for this match are £12 Adult and £6 concessions (65 and over, 16 and under, disabled). There will be a Pay at the Gate option on the day but please note that PATG adult and concession prices are £1 more than the online option (£13/£7). Turnstiles will open at 1pm and the bar in the ground in the Andy Matthew Lounge will be open from then before the game for all fans to use – home and away.

The Board of Cowdenbeath FC has agreed that season tickets will be valid for this match. Please also note that if the aggregate scores are tied at the end of the match there is no extra time and the match will go straight to penalties.

If you are unable to make it on the day Blue Brazil TV offers an alternative as it will also be broadcasting the match live via Pay per View – a subscription to our streaming service for this match is £10 and available to purchase here.

Protocols for supporters attending
We extend a warm welcome to all supporters attending our Pyramid play off final first leg vs Cowdenbeath, especially those supporters visiting New Dundas Park for the first time. While the vast majority of those attending will be familiar with NDP, we would appreciate it those who are attending would read the following information:

Ticket sales

Entry is by ticket only. Ticket sales for the match are now closed. There are no match day sales or cash gates available.

General Information

There will be three entrance to the ground in operation marked A,B & C on the site plan pictured:
- A is the Dundas St entrance
- B is opposite Bonnyrigg Rose Charitable Trust
- C is the Lothian St entrance (double gates)

We would ask home supporters to enter via gates A & B and Cowdenbeath supporters and those requiring disabled access through gate C and request Cowden supporters to congregate to the right of the dugouts which is marked as area 6 on the site plan above. There will be c200 Blue Brazil fans in attendance so there should be ample space for the away support in that area.

Entrance gates will be open from 13:30 which is ninety minutes before the scheduled kick off time of 15:00. We would ask supporters to make best endeavours to enter the ground as early as possible, as per our published ground regulations there will be random searches carried out by stewards prior to entry to New Dundas Park and there will be circa 2,200 supporters in attendance. Those found attempting to bring prohibited items into the ground will be refused entry. Therefore the best way to avoid lengthy queues at the entrance gates is to arrive at New Dundas Park as promptly as possible.

There is a seated area marked 4 on the site plan in front of the dressing rooms and would ask supporters not to stand in front of those seated. Stewards will be in place on either side of that area to ensure this is enforced.

We would ask supporters not to try and enter the ground with any pets on Saturday. This is normally acceptable with our average crowd but given we have a full house they aren't allowed entry for this fixture, and those with them will be refused entry by the stewards at each entrance gate.

There will be strictly no parking available at New Dundas Park on the day of the game. We will have a number of stewards on site to ensure that parking is restricted to players and officials only. Please ensure that you are parked legally and take into account our neighbours who live close to the ground and also be aware that Lothian St is almost completely out of bounds for parking, due to the temporary closure of the B6392 from the roundabout at Cockpen Cemetery to the Hardengreen Roundabout.

There are catering facilities, Male, Female & wheelchair accessible W.Cs within the confines of New Dundas Park and there are signage in the ground to direct you to these but hopefully the site plan can act as an advanced guide. There will be additional portable toilets beside the Lothian St entrance (entrance C) & a catering facility close to the area marked for Cowdenbeath supporters also. However, if you need further assistance please just ask either one of the gate attendees or stewards who will be visible within NDP.

Once supporters have entered into the ground we expect them to remain within New Dundas Park for the duration of the game. If supporters wish to exit at any point once inside the ground they will be refused re-entry, which will be enforced by the stewards at each access point.

We would ask all supporters to review our Ground Regulations and Uncacceptable Conduct policies prior to attendance.

We hope that everyone enjoys their day at New Dundas Park. Feedback, whether good or bad is always encouraged. This can be carried out in person at the game, or by contacting us on the form here. Please note, if contacting us online we are fully GDPR compliant and we will not share your information with any other party.

MATCH PREVIEW - BONNYRIGG ROSE (A)
Posted May 7, 2022
After 36 cinch League Two games, it's now down to the Play Off as we look to maintain our SPFL status.

The first leg this afternoon sees us head over the water to face the Lowland League champions at New Dundas Park with a 3pm kick off.

Under the charge of one time Cowden loanee Robbie Horn, who is now in his second spell at the club either side of his spell as boss of one of his other old clubs Berwick, the Midlothian side were comfortable winners of the Lowland League finishing 14 points ahead of Rangers and Celtic’s B sides.

Their games with Highland League champions Fraserburgh saw a 3-1 win at New Dundas Park and a 1-0 defeat at Bellslea Park last Saturday afternoon. Goals from Keiran McGachie, Callum Connelly and Lee Currie saw them overcome the Broch a fortnight ago, with Paul Young scoring for the Highland side.

Kieran Simpson reduced the deficit last Saturday but Rose held on with the only down side for them being McGachie being sent off , his third red card of the season which see’s him suspended for both games against us.

Cowdenbeath 0-1 Albion Rovers

A Charlie Reilly goal just after half time saw Albion Rovers take all three points in the final cinch League 2 game of the season.

Cowdenbeath had their chances in the first 45 with Jamie Todd heading narrowly wide from a corner and Liam Buchanan seeing his effort come back off the post.

But it was the visitors took seized their opportunity with Reilly's pinpoint shot ending up in the top right hand corner of the net.

Quinn Coulson had a late chance for the home side after Harry Stone had spilled the ball but Coulson's shot was deflected behind for the corner.

Maurice Ross' side learned their fate for the League 2 Play Off final with Bonnyrigg Rose Athletic coming out on top in the Pyramid Play Off, defeating Fraserburgh over two legs.

TEAM : Gill, Mullen (Thomson), Swann, Todd (Dunn), C Barr, Denham, Ferguson, Miller, L Buchanan (B Barr), Ompreon (Moore), Barrowman (Coulson)
